Terms of Use

You are permitted to:

a) use the images in 2D or 3D computer graphics, website design, advertising banners, movies, TV shows and printed media;

b) incorporate the images in computer games and 3D models;

c) sell maps or images incorporating the artwork. The following attribution is appreciated but not required:

“This (map, image, etc) has been created using map symbols from www.fantasymapsymbols.com”.

d) use the images for scrapbooking work, but only if you are the end-user of the work. Resale of the Photos as scrapbooking packs, scrapbooking papers, templates, etc, is explicitly forbidden (even when the Photos are modified).

You are not permitted to:

a) sell or distribute any images (modified or not) by themselves or in an image pack or scrapbooking pack;

b) use the images in graphic design themes or templates sold to multiple customers on digital marketplaces (this includes stock photography, clipart, templates for websites, business cards and e-cards);

c) use the images for creating products sold via 'print on demand' websites (for example print on demand mugs, T-shirts, mouse mats, etc);

d) sell or distribute skins for laptops, phones and other devices created with images from fantasymapsymbols.com;

e) use the images to print wallpaper, fabrics or vinyl wraps (with the exception of private or one-off use);

f) bundle images with software such as map making or paint programs, plugins, 3D engines, 3D programs or photo-kiosk software;

f) release the images or derivative products with images under Open Source Licences.
