Weaving of Worlds
Clear a space upon the table,
Then unfurl the world upon it.
See in parchment places fabled,
There your realms and wonders sit.
Royal castles, wealthy towns,
Dragons' caves and battlefields;
On the map it's all set down,
Realms and wonders all revealed.
Snow-capped peaks and rivers-wide,
Boon or bane for trade and travel,
Guide to pilgrims, thieves and spies,
Key to messengers and generals.
With the map your story starts,
Worlds are crafted by your hand,
Creation wrought in works of art,
Bedrock of all stories grand.
